How does the filter works?

How does the Hand Held Cartridge works?

The Sprite Hand Held Cartridge has CHLORGON & KDF inside. Chlorgon converts free chlorine and some combined chlorines, such as sodium hypochlorite (liquid swimming pool chlorine), to a harmless chloride. Also, works well in a variety of temperatures from hot to cold.

Kinetic Degradation Fluxion, or KDF, converts free chlorine to a harmless chloride. KDF is 100 percent recyclable and contain no chemical additives. Also, removes free chlorine, iron oxides and hydrogen sulfide.

How do I replace the Hand Held Cartridge?

  1. Remove hose from the Shower Hose Filter
  2. Unscrew the swivel cap from the filter housing
  3. Remove used filter cartridge (turn and pull)
  4. Lubricate the new cartridge O-rings with a Vaseline Petroleum Lubricant
  5. Insert cartridge into handle
  6. Reassemble Shower Hose Filter and reattach the shower hose

Note: Replace every 200 showers
