  • Maintenance
    • Note flow direction of the Omnipure CL10RO T40.
    • For quick connect fittings, push scratch free tube end into the fitting until it bottoms. Threaded fittings must be wrapped with PTFE tape before installation. Install PTFE taped fittings and tighten firm. Use two wrenches to firmly tighten tubing.
    • Flush the new Omnipure CL10RO T40 with 5 gallons of water prior to use and check for leaks. If leaks occur, check tightness of tubing and fittings. If leaks persist, discontinue use and call your supporting dealer.
    • Replace the Omnipure CL10RO T40 when rated capacity (1,500 gallons) is reached, or when flow becomes too slow.
    • Install in compliance with state and local laws and regulations.
  • Recomendations
    • The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water treatment system are not necessarily in your water.
    • Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
    • Furthermore, no glues or binders that may cause contamination are used in the manufacturing process. Instead, components are friction-welded together, producing a reliable, no-leak seal. And finally, all threaded connections are precision cut by machine with results in the more accurate and repeatable thread possible.

Maintenance

How often should I replace the filters?

  • Omnipure OMB934-1MPb Capacity: 2,500 gallons
  • Omnipure CL10 RO T40 Capacity: 1,500 gallons

By simply replacing your filter on a regular basis, you can avoid drinking unwanted chemicals, particles and bacteria, which can cause or lead to serious health problems.

The water filter itself can last pretty long. But the cartridges have a lifespan of six to twelve months depending on your usage and size of the filter. When rated capacity is reached, or when flow becomes too slow the filter should be replaced.
