The CARELUX B3W System consists of two filtration stages, each stage with a 20″ x 4.5″ filter. One sediment filter for the first stage (INLET), and one chemical filter for the second stage (OUTLET). One if the big advantages of having the CARELUX B3W System is that you will have Hot and Cold filtered water not only for drinking but for your showers and domestic appliances.

Recommended Filters:

  • Poly Spun filter for the 1st Stage
  • Aragon Filter for the 2nd Stage.

These filters will remove particles down to 1 micron, and will reduce heavy metals, chemicals, turbidity, oil products, viruses, bacteria and parasites.

Description

The CARELUX B3W System consists of two filtration stages, each stage with a 20″ x 4.5″ filter. One sediment filter for the first stage (INLET), and one chemical filter for the second stage (OUTLET). One if the big advantages of having the CARELUX B3W System is that you will have Hot and Cold filtered water not only for drinking but for your showers and domestic appliances.

The CARELUX B3W is installed after the water meter but before the water heater. Can be mounted in one of the side walls on your house, or in the garage.

A certified plumber is required to install the system, after he has assessed your piping arrangement, he will advise where is the best place to install the system. Please contact your local plumber for the installation.

FILTERED WATER EVERYWHERE

  • This Two Stage Whole House Water Filter works with houses with 1 bathroom. This is because the system works at 50-60 LPM.
  • For houses with more than 1 bathroom, we recommend Three Stage Whole House Water Filters. This is because, for higher flow rates, an extra filtration stage is required to double the contact time in the filtration media to increase the water quality.
  • Usually water filters are connected to the cold water line and if you use hot water, this one is unfiltered. With the CARELUX B3W you will have Hot and Cold filtered water not only for drinking but for your showers and domestic appliances.

For the OUTLET or second stage a chemical filter

  • The carbon filter is recommended for town water or tap water.
  • The nano silver carbon filter is recommended for rainwater.
  • The Aragon filter is recommended for ground water, bore water and well water.
    • For bore water, an specialised test is required. Nitrates and other heavy metals commonly found in bore water when found in high concentration levels can affect the performance of the filters. You can contact Toxtest to get more information about the test and its price.
