The 5″ Super Sterasyl Doulton Gravity Ceramic Water Filter Candle is a filter cartridge with bacteriostatic properties and 0.9 micron pore size that measures 5″ in height and 2″ in diameter.
This filter works with mechanical filtration and adsorption filtration. Therefore, removes harmful chemicals and also captures particles greater than 0.9 micron such as dirt, sand, silt, rust and clay.
The media inside this filter combines Silver, Ceramic and Granular Activated Carbon which makes this filter capable of filtering bacteria and parasites commonly found in rainwater.
The nut and screw in 1/4″ thread in this filter is designed to suit gravity urns. As a result, suits Southern Cross Pottery Gravity Urns and Doulton British Berkefeld Stainless Steel Gravity Filters.
