What Causes Back Pain?
Research shows that over 70 percent of back pain cases may have been caused by excessive consumption of rich food and alcohol. The poisonous effects of this lifestyle can easily manifest in the joints and muscles.
Joints are covered with a tough padding and a lubricating fluid which enables free movement. The movement is driven by ‘voluntary muscles’. There is also muscle tissue known as “involuntary muscle” which facilitates movement in other parts of the body such as in the stomach, intestines and the heart.Â
Backache may be a symptom of overall degeneration of joints and muscles. Young people are not inmune, and the slipped disc, for example, is common in people in their thirties. We should always bear in mind that the body is one system. If you are feeling pain in the lower back (due to poisonous residues), you are being given a warning signal that poisonous residues are doing damage in relatively remote areas like heart and intestine.
Ageing
INEVITABLY, older people are more susceptible to backache or back pain. Ageing is responsible for a loss of fluid in the ligaments, which increases the chances of strain, and can give rise to constant aches and pains. You can experience excruciating pain in your lower back merely by bending forward suddenly. Again, backache cannot be separated from your total being. It is one aspect of your overall health.
Uric Acid
BEYOND, the age of about 40 years, the kidney fuction starts slowing down. A person may have a situation where urinating is not always completed, leaving a dangerous residue in the kidneys called uric acid. Uric acid is then dispersed to other parts of the body, in particular the lower back region, as well as to any weak spot around a previous injury, such as the shoulders, elbows, knees and feet.
Pain in the joints is usually diagnosed as things like arthritis, gout and bursitis. In many cases, the illness starts with cooler weather, when people drink less water and have fewer baths or showers, which would normally eliminate most of the toxic residues in the body.
| Pain Relief
A simple way to relieving the pain is to flush the kidneys out as soon as possible, preferably with celery or celery juice, or any kidney tablets that will make you urinate more frequently. In most cases the pain disappears within about three days. To speed up the process, it is advisable to avoid red or processed meat, alcohol and coffee. Also try to drink a full glass of filtered water on the hour, preferably with a little lemon juice.
Eating foods rich in the oils omega-3 and omega-6, both animal and vegetable, makes the body produce a substance called prostaglandin which reduces inflammation. Vitamin therapy is also very effective in reducing inflammation and pain, particularly in the lower back.
