The Ultraceram Fluoride Gravity Filter is a ceramic filter imported from England with 0.5 micron pore size that measures 5″ in height and 2.75″ in diameter.
This filter is manufactured in the same facilities as the SCP Fluoride Plusâ„¢. They both use the same media and filtration process. The difference lies in that the Ultraceram Gravity Filter is rebranded for SCP in Australia.
This filter works with mechanical and adsorption filtration. Therefore, removes harmful chemicals and also captures particles greater than 0.5 micron such as sand, silt or dirt.
This cartridge has Silver impregnated ceramic on the outside and granular activated carbon in the inside. Also, has other specialised media that all combined make this filter capable of filtering chlorine, chemicals, fluoride, heavy metals, taste and odours.
The thread in this filter is designed to suit Southern Cross Pottery Gravity Urns. And as a result replaces the SCP Fluoride Plus Filter and can be used with other gravity flitration systems including Durand, Waterco, Australis, Stefani and Pozzani.
