The CARELUX C1W filer works with adsorption filtration. Therefore, removes harmful chemicals and captures particles greater than 1 micron.
The media inside this filter has coconut shell activated carbon, which makes this filter capable of removing taste and odours whilst removing chlorine from your drinking water.
This filter goes in the second stage or outlet of most filtration systems. This is because, this carbon filter will be covered in dirt and will stop adsorbing chlorine if its installed in the first stage. Therefore, needs a sediment pre-filter to work efficiently.
Also, this filter measures 10″ in height and 2.5″ in diameter. Therefore, fits in 10″ x 2.5″ housing sumps and casings.
